Tournament Director
- The Tournament Director shall be responsible for organizing the Regional Tournament in accordance with USGA rules, UIL Constitution and Contest Rules.
- The Tournament Director shall notify each qualifying school as to how the tournament will be organized or run, allowing ample time for each member to prepare for the event.
- The Tournament Director shall, determine the site or sites for the Regional Golf Tournament.
Certification
The Tournament Director shall certify the final results and send them to the State Golf Tournament Director.

Practice Rounds
Once your player(s) have qualified, you may schedule your practice round with the golf course at (210)212-7572 or online at https://alamocitygolftrail.com/ Practice rounds will be at the public fee rates and are contingent on course availability.
Tournament Rounds, Range Balls and Carts
Tournament fees are $30 per player for each day (Boys) and $40/player each day (Girls) for team and individual qualifiers. Range balls are available for tournament rounds at $5 each which you may include in your tournament fees check if you like. Each qualifying team will have one cart available for each day at a cost of $36 per day. There will spectator carts on site (NO reservations/first come first serve). Please make your checks payable to “Mission Del Lago Golf Course” (Boys Event) and “Olmos Basin Golf Course” (Girls Event).
Note: Please understand that Tournament fees are separate from the athletic fees paid by your DEC Chairperson.
Method of Determining the Regional Champion
- A total of thirty-six (36) holes shall be combined to determine the Regional Champions, second and third place teams qualifying for the State Tournament.
- The lowest combined score of the thirty-six (36) holes shall determine both Team Champions and Medalists honors as well as all State Qualifiers.
- The top three (3) individuals, not already on an advancing team, shall advance to the State Tournament as per UIL rules.
- Should weather prohibit the completion of thirty-six (36) holes, a completed eighteen (18) holes shall be used to determine Regional Champions and State Qualifiers.
Protests
Protests may be made in a timely manner, within one (1) hour of completing the round, to the Tournament Director, who may seek the advice of the PGA Professional, and the other Rules Officials concerning rules or other infractions and the decision will then be final. This final decision does not prohibit the filing of a complaint to the UIL. See handbook.
